Viscose Jersey Knit Fabric – Olive Green

Composition: 96% Viscose – 4% Lycra

Elastic (80% in width and 35% in length) and good drape heavyweight fabric that does not wrinkle easily. Three attributes that distinguish this particular type of fabric from similar ones of different origin are its indelible colors and that it does not stretch permanently or pilling. It’s great for both fitted and loose, comfortable clothing. It is perfect suitable for all seasons of the year. Especially pleasant and cool during the summer months. Due to its versatility, in addition to classic clothing (dress, skirt, pants, blouse), it is also suitable for many innovative DIYs such as baby wrap, hair accessories, etc. Machine washable up to 40⁰C (for persistent stains). As a natural material, it shrinks a little and therefore recommended to be washed before sewing. A more general practice that applies to all knitted fabrics for less warping during drying is to place the fabric on the clothes airer rather than on its separately rails or on a rope. Whatever happens to the particular fabric can be return to its original form with the steam in the ironing.
